This course will take you through lots of ideas and theory for designing and improving your current PE curriculum and assessment procedures in school. Written by international PE consultant and training Kevin Barton who has been exploring ideas in this area for a number of years and previously worked as a national adviser at the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority, the national agency responsible for the development of the National Curriculum and for the regulation of qualifications and examinations, where he led the organisation’s work in Physical and Arts Education.
There are 2 parts to this course – the first looks at making improvements to your PE curriculum and the second explores the best way to assess pupils in PE.
