Who are we?

Caroline Holder

Company Owner/ Lead PE Consultant

As Staffordshire county PE advisor for a number of years I saw how diverse the needs of our pupils across the area were. By applying my vast experience in successfully upskilling teachers through CPD I know I can make a real difference. Over the last few years I have been contracted to oversee the effective use of PE and Sports Funding in the local area and I am proud of the positive changes schools have made with our support towards improving the outcomes in PE, sport and health for young people.

Having completed my headship qualification myself, I understand the challenges and requirements of whole school development. I love it when I manage to help a school support their school objectives weaved against the whole school development plan.

The latest thing I have been enjoying working on is our YouTube videoing producing our ‘9 tricks…’ series with my own young family and their friends. Seeing children engaged and motivated to improve their own physical skills and having fun is something I think will really benefit progress in PE and lifelong health and fitness.

Emma Shaw

During my six years’ teaching, I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to teach in both KS1 and KS2 classes. My experience in both Key Stages has provided me with a wide and in-depth knowledge of the PE curriculum and how it differs in KS1 and KS2. I am confident and passionate about delivering high quality PE in an, engaging, inspiring and highly active manner where pupils can thrive in their PE experiences and opportunities. This, I believe, sets strong foundations for the years to follow.

During the last year I have worked as a Physical Education Tutor for Accelerate Learning Services. In this role, I have supported learning practitioners in achieving the best possible outcomes for children through a range of effective course packages, consultancy and resources and as a result I have assisted many delegates in different schools within different local authorities. Throughout my time as tutor I have prepared and delivered many presentations, modelled lessons and provided bespoke advice to delegates. I regularly work closely with subject leaders and members of the Senior Leadership Team, where I advise, give effective feedback to support their needs.
