A look into school swimming best practice including swim England resources, becoming a charter school. Research and information on how to structure sessions, how many sessions are needed to get pupils to meet minimum requirements, how to extend your more able swimmers and engage and enthuse them in sessions. Other opportunities to teach water safety awareness and self safe rescue. This course then includes a practical session at the leisure centre to look at water based activities.
