The risk of the coronavirus being passed on to other outdoors is considered to be much lower, therefore we have many schools who are looking to utilise their outdoor spaces more frequently and plan for additional outdoor learning opportunities.

For schools wishing for some support/ ideas in this area – we can offer bespoke training and advice on this as well as many resources.

We also have the following courses that may be of use/ interest:

1 Day Outdoor and Adventurous Activities Course, 9:15am-3.30pm: A day to explore a range of ideas and activities for delivering Outdoor and Adventurous Activities on your school site. It will also showcase ways of linking these activities to other areas of the curriculum to promote cross curricular learning and the development of wider life skills.                                          Cost £150

Forest School Leader Level 3 Qualification, 9:15am – 3.30pm: Our training is unique in as                it is based on actual school sites giving delegates the opportunity to chat to experienced teacher practitioners and see real sessions in action! The course also includes the 2 day Forest School First Aid course needed to run activities on your own school site.                                              Cost £950 –  7 day Course: 23rd & 30th September 2020, 7th, 14th & 21st October 2020. Supporting Forest School Activities in your school, 9.15 – 3.30pm. Get your teaching assistants, teachers or other adults enthused and wishing to improve their knowledge of what outdoor learning and forest school activities are and how they can support with sessions in school.

Forest School Termly Cluster Meetings, 9.30-3.30pm. These meetings will support delegates to stay up to date with their forest school skills meeting the requirement for level 3 practitioners to take part in ongoing CPD. Developing pupils life skills through PE , 9.00 -16.00: Looking at how we can best use the opportunities PE gives us to develop skills that will benefit pupils in later life.                   Cost £150
