This 6 week programme is aimed at improving staff well-being and ability to deal with the day to day pressures of school life. Not only will these sessions improve personal outcomes for staff but they will also give ideas for activities and practices to use with pupils in class.
An overview of the sessions:
Session 1 – Introduction, what to expect, why yoga is beneficial – 29th tJuly 2020, 6pm
Session 2 – The importance of breath work – 19th August 2020, 6pm
Session 3 – Being present/ switching off – 9th September 2020, 6pm
Session 4 – Meditation – 21st September 2020, 6pm
Session 5 – Positive mindset/ gratitude – 6th October 2020, 6pm
Session 6 – Letting go – 21st October 2020, 6pm
Each session builds progressively to the next and will give the teachers, TA’s and staff members accessing them both a personal sense of improved wellbeing and a range of ideas for use in school. All sessions will be recorded so you will be able to access then at an alternative time if you miss them.
